Candle and Dixie - Desperately Out of Date

Candle decided she wanted to play this character as a naive southern girl who is still trying to sell pagers in a world where almost everyone now has a cellphone (mobile), and she seems so sincere in her efforts. Inevitably, she does not having much luck and, for backstory, we imagine that she has driven from house to house with her sales pitch and that no one is interested, which means of course that she doesn't get invited in to anyone's home where she might be able to use a bathroom. By the time she arrives at Dixie's house, she badly needs to pee but keeps her urge under wraps, convinced that she will be successful this time and is only minutes away from a bathroom and relief. Unfortunately, Dixie is not only not interested but has little patient with doorstep saleswomen and tells her to leave, slamming the door in her face. Candle does return to her car, but feeling the urge to pee strengthen, she decides to go back to the house and ask flat out to use the bathroom. Dixie berates
